The trip highlights
Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe Airport
On arrival, get picked up and transfer to Kampala for overnight at Humura Hotel.
Day 2: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park, enjoy a Boat Ride
Leave early for Lake Mburo National Park, stop briefly at the Uganda Equator and arrive at the park in late morning hours. After lunch at the lodge, go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo and expect to see a variety of birds and animals. Overnight at Rwakobo Rock.
Day 3: Enjoy an early Morning Game Drive and Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Take an early game drive during which you will see lots of animals in the park. After the game safari, take breakfast and conctinue to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check in at the lodge, have lunch, followed by a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel, a gathering water spot for animals and birds. In the evening, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Enganzi Lodge.
Day 5: Undertake a wonderful Game Drive in the Morning and an evening Chimpanzee Safari in Kalinzu Central Forest Reserve
Take a game drive in the morning during which lots of animals await you in the flat plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the afternoon after a nice lunch, transfer to Kalinzu Forest for another thrilling Chimpanzee Tracking encounter. The forest has got other primate species as well as birds. Its a wildlife extravanganza in the jungle. In the evening, return to Enganzi Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, enjoy nature and a canoe ride
Lake Bunyonyi and its beautiful Islands is a superb destination for a canoe ride, swimming, briding, relaxation and community walk around the water body. Lunch, overnight and dinner at Bunyonyi Overland Resort.
Day 7: Drive to Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park
In the morning, you will do any actvities undone on the previous day and then leave for Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.
Day 8: Do Gorilla Tracking and Nature Walk
Breakfast and enjoy gorilla trekking in the Volcanoes National Park. Later have lunch followed by a nature walk around Musanze Caves. Return to the lodge in the evening. Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.
Day 9: Enjoy Golden Monkey trekking, the Volcanoes National Park
You will do a goldden monkey trekking adventure in the Volcanoes National Park. Same proceedures apply like for gorilla trekking. In the afternoon, return to the lodge for overnight and dinner.
Day 10: Drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park, the home of Chimps and other primates.
This day is reserved for only transfer to Nyungwe Forest. This forest is a home to chimps, colubus monkeys, black and white monkeys, the canopy and bird species among others. Overnight at Gisakura Guest House.
Day 11: Primates Tekking and Canopy Walk
A breakfast in Nyungwe will be followed by a primate walk in the thick tropical forest. Expect to see colubus monkeys and other primate species. A canopy walk is another interesting adventure in the thick vegetation forest. Overnight at Gisakura Guest House.
Day 12: Transfer to Kigali, Rwanda Capital City
Drive to Kigali with lunch en route. Overnight stay at Hôtel des Mille Collines,
Day 13: Kigali City Tours and Fly out of the country.
